Tier 2 Sponsor Support Service
What is it?
The UKBA allows Tier 2 Sponsors to assign access permissions for the Sponsorship Management System (SMS) to external users. With this service Forgate will be acting as your representative, administering the SMS for you and supporting you with immigration issues surrounding the employment of overseas workers e.g. assigning of Certificates of Sponsorships (COS)

Current holders of a Tier 2 Sponsorship Licence
Why is this service useful?
With the introduction of the Points Based System, the UKBA is giving greater responsibilities to UK employers when sponsoring overseas workers. Employers can assign Certificates of Sponsorship (COS) to potential employees without any previous checks by the UKBA. This brings greater flexibility on the one hand, but also leaves the employer with the responsibility to ensure that they, as well as, the overseas worker, meet all visa and immigration requirements.
If the employer is found, at a later date, to not comply with the immigration rules e.g. not paying the right salary, the worker doesn’t have the right qualifications or experience, the UKBA might cancel the visa of the migrant and strip the employer of its licence.
We will help you to fulfil your sponsor duties and responsibilities by taking over the administration of the Sponsorship Management System and the assigning of Certificates of Sponsorship to your overseas staff.
